I have spent the last ten years working first as a captive insurance agent writing personal and business lines policies before becoming an independent agent in 2021. I enjoy making sure I give personal service to each and every one of my clients to ensure I am protecting them and their families from the many catastrophic events that can occur.
I grew up in Goodrich, Michigan, on an 80-acre farm raising farm animals. I went to GMI Engineering and Management Institute and graduated with a degree in engineering. After graduation, I spent 20 years working in the automotive industry, and I decided in 2012 to leave automotive and become an insurance agent.
I love boating and spending time on the water, and I have the dream of making the “Great Loop” someday. For me, this trip would start in the Great Lakes, heading to Chicago down the Mississippi. The next leg is along the intercoastal waterway around Florida and up the east coast of the US. The journey’s final stretch is down the Saint Lawrence Seaway and back to the Great Lake System.
A fun fact about myself is my joy for woodworking and construction. Growing up, I spent a lot of time doing it with my dad. I didn’t appreciate it at the time, but I sure do now! I love going to Higgins Lake during my off time and spending the weekend with my family.
